A NaNoWriMo Journal

Wish I could remember why I thought it would be a good idea, fun even, to write multiple short stories for NaNo this year. I wrote 1,742 words today, the first 933 of which were fairly easy since I was finishing up my first story.  Then I had to settle my brain into a totally different point of view.  So not easy!  Not only is the POV different but the genre is different also. My first story was macabre, the second is mystery and I am afraid I am toast!  Or I will be by the time this month is over.  Oh well, hopefully it will get easier as the days  c r a w l  past.   I exceeded my minimum word count today so I should award myself two wines but it was such a struggle and I played so many games of Spider Solitaire in the process that I'm thinking I only deserve one.
