2:00 p.m.
This does not bode well for my NaNo attempt this year.  Before I even opened up my manuscript file I started procrastinating.  I decided to put a shortcut on my computer for my word count spreadsheet.

Not a problem. Takes a minute, no more. But then I decided I wanted a different icon and I spent half an hour searching for 'just the right one'!  I'm afraid I am doomed!


5:09 p.m.   Phew!  All is not lost... not yet anyway.  I managed 2,142 words today!  I live to write another day.
