A fun writing session with the Houston NaNo'ers at Cafe Express. I got my word count in for the day plus an additional 150 or so but most important of all one of my characters spoke to me!!  One of the most enjoyable parts of writing fiction is when a character you thought you knew so well turns around and tells you something utterly surprising.  In my story I have a mostly sweet little old lady who is trying to con the conman who killed her oldest and dearest friend.  I didn't know until about 200 words from the end of my story that my sweet little old lady is actually the one who killed her friend.  The conman merely hid the body in an attempt to get away clean.  Love it!
