Thanks to figuring out some very important scenes last night, I was finally able to do some writing today that didn’t feel forced and miserable. For the first time this month I didn’t feel like I had to drag myself kicking and screaming to my keyboard. Yet again it has been pounded home to me how important it is to be prepared for NaNoWriMo. I don’t believe you have to have a complete plot in place before starting. You just have to make sure you have the bare bones of enough scenes in place so that you never have to stop and think about what you’re going to do next.
