"HOW MANY WORDS DID YOU WRITE TODAY?"
A NaNoWriMo Journal

NaNo Day Five

I'm only awarding this day One glass on the Duxbury Wine Scale.  I exceeded my minimum number of words again (1764) but so much of my work today was confined to backstory and character analysis that it doesn't seem fair to reward myself for words that may never show up in my finished novel.  Granted, I did do the work. It all does count toward 'winning' NaNoWriMo but somehow only having a One Glass day soothes my conscience.
